NBS: Serbian Q1 real GDP up by 4.7 y-o-y
BELGRADE - Quoting figures from the national statistical office, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) says Serbia's real GDP growth in Q1 2024 amounted to 4.7 pct y-o-y, slightly exceeding the flash estimate of 4.6 pct y-o-y.

Turkey's industrial output soars 40.7% in May
Turkey's calendar-adjusted industrial production jumped 40.7% in May compared to the same month last year, the country's statistical authority announced on July 13.
The overall rise beat even the upper range of economists' estimates from an Anadolu Agency survey.

Turkey's industrial output up in November
Turkey's calendar-adjusted industrial production surged 11% year-on-year last November, the country's statistical authority said on Jan. 13.
The figure, which beat market expectations, indicates strong growth for the third quarter of 2020.

Industrial output goes down 2% in March
Turkey's industrial production saw a decline of 2% year-on-year in March 2020, the country's statistical authority said on May 14.
Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) revealed that all three main sub-indices- mining and quarrying, manufacturing, and the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning- dropped 5.6%, 1.9% and 0.9%, respectively, in March.

Industrial Production in April Decreased by 1.9%
Industrial production in April decreased by 1.9% compared to March 2019, according to preliminary data of the National Statistical Institute (NSI). In the fourth month of the year, the calendar index recorded a growth of 2.4 per cent compared to April 2018.

Turkey's industrial production soars 14.5 pct in July
Turkey's industrial production increased by 14.5 percent in July compared to the same month last year, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced on Sept. 8.
On an annual basis, the manufacturing index saw the biggest rise in July, up by 16 percent, among all three main sub-indices, TÜİK said.
