Foreign investment in Turkey falls by more than one-third
Foreign investment in Turkey fell by more than one-third in March year-on-year, the government has said.
Net foreign direct investment (FDI) stood at $900 million in March, a decline of 37 percent from March 2014's $1.42 billion, the Economy Ministry reported on May 22.

Iran may steal Turkey's role

In a joint statement, 65 Iranian deputies called on Erdo?an to apologize for his remarks about Iran. Erdo?an is expected to bring Yemen, Iraq, Syria and energy to the table in his talks with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

Turkey expects nuke deal to lead to lifting of sanctions on Iran
The Turkish government has voiced its expectation that the tentative Iranian nuclear deal could mark the first step toward the lifting of sanctions on Iran.
Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek said the deal, which could pave the way for the lifting of economic sanctions on Iran, would help boost Turkey's exports to its neighbor and help bring down global oil prices.
Govt revises 2014 primary surplus figure downwards
The cash-strapped Greek government on Monday revised the 2014 primary budget surplus figure to 0.3% from a previous estimate of 1.5% of GDP.
The finance ministry said 2.23 billion euros were slashed from the figure, due to less revenues collected than originally foreseen.
