EU integration minister meets with Japanese businessmen

BELGRADE - Representatives of the Japan Business Federation KEIDANREN, who are staying on a visit to Belgrade in order to consider possibilities for investing in Serbia, were acquainted on Wednesday with reform processes which are aimed at improving the business climate, Jadranka Joksimovic, minister without portfolio in charge of the EU integration, stated on Wednesday.

Greece's trade deficit up 9.6 pct in 2014

Greece’s trade deficit increased by 9.6 percent during the first half of the year due to a rise in imports and a drop in exports, the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) said on Monday.

If oil products are excluded from the calculations, the rise in the trade deficit, which reached 10.6 billion euros, soars to 25.3 percent.

Trade deficit grows 9.5 pct in Jan-May

Greece’s trade deficit recorded a 9.5 percent increase in the January-May period this year compared with the first five months of 2013, data compiled by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) revealed on Friday. Imports posted a small decline, but this was dwarfed by the drop in exports, which upset the trade balance.
