EIB lends support to windfarms in Greece
The European Investment Bank on Thursday announced the signing of a 24-million-euro financing agreement with Greece's Terna Energy Group to help fund the development, construction and operation of two windfarms on Mount Vermio in northern Greece.
Alpha Bank acted as co-lender, providing an equivalent amount of long-term debt next to a medium-term VAT facility.

European Investment Grows in Bulgaria
Bulgaria's leading sunflower and oil producer and grain trader has secured a loan agreement with the European Investment Bank. The financing will be used for the construction of a new sunflower oilseed production plant and storage and logistic facilities in the Beloslav municipality near Varna.

EIB OKs EUR 7.3 B for Investment in Europe
The European Investment Bank (EIB) has said it has approved EUR 7.3 B in loans for investment across Europe and around the world.
At a meeting in Malta's capital Valetta, its Board of Directors gave the green light for the funding to be allocated to strategic infrastructure, the environmental and knowledge economy as well as private sector schemes.

EUR 35 M of Loans to be Provided to Bulgarian SMEs under Juncker Plan
The European Investment Fund (EIF) and Raiffeisenbank Bulgaria, a subsidiary of Raiffeisen Bank International signed a guarantee agreement to increase lending to innovative SMEs and small mid-caps in Bulgaria.
The transaction benefits from the support of the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI), which constitutes the heart of the Investment Plan for Europe.
