"I Do Not Support Anyone" Votes Not To Influence Bulgaria's Presidential Run-off Outcome

The option "I do not support anyone" will be available in the ballot for the run-off of the presidential elections on Sunday but will not, in fact, influence the outcome.

Tsetska Tsacheva (GERB) and Rumen Radev (BSP) will race in the run-off.

A newly introduced "protest vote" option has fared better than some of the candidates in the presidential election in Bulgaria, official figures show.

With nearly half of the vote counted, more than 5.80% have cast a ballot ticking "I Do Not Support Anyone", added after voting was made compulsory earlier this year.
