Electoral fraud

SEÇS?S security is debatable

I have been a volunteer for Oy ve Ötesi (Vote and Beyond) Platform for the last four elections. I will be at the ballot box for the fifth time this Sunday. As a technology journalist, I had the opportunity to examine where fraud can be committed in Turkey's election system very closely.

Turkey's Great Normalization

There are two kinds of countries in the world. Ones where the election results are revealed after the ballots are counted and ones where results are known long before the first vote is cast. Turkey for sure belongs to the first category. We are no Ukraine, no Egypt.

Protect your vote

I come across three questions wherever I go. One is: what are the results of the latest surveys? The second is: will the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) cross the threshold? And the third is: will there be vote rigging in the elections?

Workers at the "Multiprint" printing house have testified in court in favor of the sole defendant in the case concerning the illegal ballot papers discovered on the eve of the early elections on May 12, 2013.

The case is tried in the Sofia City Court under fast-track proceedings, as requested by the defendant, Rosen Zhelyazkov, former Chief Secretary of the Council of Ministers.
