Automaker Volkswagen has said it will shed 30,000 jobs to cut costs as it tries to recover from its diesel emissions scandal and invests more in electric-powered vehicles and digital services.

Public Power Corporation (PPC) is planning to lend its support to the circulation of electric cars in Greece by opening charging stations across the country, as it expects a steady increase in the number of such vehicles on Greek roads in the coming years.
