Four charged on Samos for using 3D printer to make guns
Police on the island of Samos in the eastern Aegean have arrested four suspects, aged between 19 and 20, who they say used a 3D printer to produce firearms.
The suspects are facing numerous charges related to the manufacturing, possession, and distribution of firearms, as well as involvement in drug trafficking, specifically unprocessed cannabis.

Online sales expected to hit 400 billion Turkish Liras this month
Online sales volume is expected to reach a whopping 400 billion Turkish Liras ($14 billion) in November due to discount campaigns and special occasions, according to Hakan Çevikoğlu, the president of the Association of E-Commerce Operators (ETİD).

E-commerce market size tops 800 billion Turkish Liras
The size of Türkiye's e-commerce market grew from 382 billion Turkish Liras in 2021 to 801 billion liras last year, according to a recent report.
The number of e-commerce transactions increased from 3.4 billion to 4.8 billion, said the Türkiye E-commerce Ecosystem Report, prepared jointly by the Turkish E-Commerce Association (ETİD), İyzico and Dogma Alares.
New e-commerce law soon to be finalized
Work on new legislation on e-commerce, which would include regulations protecting local companies, is expected to be finalized and submitted to parliament soon.
The new law aims to curb the fast growth in the industry and guard against the competition, according to daily Milliyet.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in April unveiled plans to introduce new rules for e-commerce.

Slovenia to send additional material aid to Ukraine
Ljubljana – Under a government decision taken at Friday’s correspondence session, Slovenia will send Ukraine material assistance in the form of IP phones, computers, petrol generators, antennas and cables, the Defence Ministry said.
