Elgiz Museum

Elgiz Museum hosts the annual terrace exhibition series with the theme of eco-criticism that questions matters on pollution and consumption of the sources of our planet. Large scale sculptures of the museum can be visited throughout the summer.

The Elgiz Museum in Istanbul will present a photography and video exhibition in pursuit of ideas for other utopias entitled "Resource Utopia" in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Istanbul, Pavlov's Dog Art Gallery in Berlin and NOKS Independent Art Space. 

The Elgiz Museum is presenting a new site-specific installation on its mezzanine floor titled "Lunar" by the artist SARP as a part of the neighboring events of the 15th Istanbul Biennial, curated by Huma Kabakcı.

The Turkish Culture and Tourism Ministry has approved funding for the international promotion campaign of Istanbul's new art event, Istanbul Art Week.

The international promotion campaign includes all manners of local art events that will take place during Istanbul Art Week between Sept. 12 and 17.  

The founders of Turkey's first contemporary art Museum, Elgiz Museum, have made a long-time dream come true by opening an exhibition, titled "Lines of Passage" (in medias res), at Halim Bey Mansion on the Greek island of Mytilene.
