First lady marks International Day of Zero Waste for first time

While marking the marking International Day of Zero Waste, observed for the first time on March 30, first lady Emine Erdoğan has expressed that if thousands of children are still losing their lives in different parts of the world due to drought caused by climate change, there is not a minute to be lost to stop this situation.

Children collect garbage on World Environment Day

As part of the June 5 World Environment Day, children across the country have picked up rubbish on the streets in various organizations to raise environmental awareness.

Turkish conjoined twins to return after successful op in UK

Turkish conjoined twin brothers Yiğit and Derman will set off on their journey back to Turkey after more than six months of medical operations and healing in the British capital London to separate them.

The two-year-old twins, who were born with their heads joined to each other, will be taken back to Turkey early on June 9 in an ambulance plane sent by the Turkish Health Ministry.
