Dubai-based airline Emirates announced on Thursday that its service linking Newark airport in New York with Athens will, as of February 10, 2025, feature the Premium Economy Class on its upgraded Boeing 777 aircraft for its EK 209 and EK 210 daily services.

TGA signs cooperation deal with Emirates
Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Emirates.
Under the deal, Emirates and TGA will collaborate on strengthening Türkiye's touristic appeal in new and existing source markets, the carrier said in a statement.

Aegean offers flights to New York on Emirates
Aegean and Emirates are adding the Athens-New York (Newark) route to their codesharing flights, over a year since they launched their collaboration in August 2022.
Aegean offers its passengers the opportunity to benefit from the increased connectivity of the Emirates network to international destinations via Dubai, by offering flights between the emirate and Athens.

Qatar Airways reports $1.2 bln in profits
Qatar Airways has reported $1.2 billion in profits over the past year, buoyed by its role in ferrying fans to the soccer World Cup.
The long-haul airline increased its revenue to $21 billion, a 45 percent increase over the previous year, it said.
Its yearly passenger load reached 31.7 million, a 71 percent increase.

Emirates to add direct daily flight to Athens in June
As part of its international expansion in response to the increased demand for air travel, Dubai-based carrier Emirates announced on Tuesday it is adding a further direct daily flight between Athens and Dubai as of June 1 and until September 30.
