Russia says oil sales to India soar
Russian oil sales to India surged more than twentyfold last year as European buyers turned to other markets following the conflict in Ukraine, Russia's deputy prime minister said yesterday.
Russia shifted its oil exports to India and China last year as European Union nations sought to end their reliance on Russian energy supplies after Moscow sent troops into neighboring Ukraine.

EU countries approve 2035 phaseout of CO2-emitting cars
European Union countries gave final approval on Tuesday to a landmark law to end sales of new CO2-emitting cars in 2035, after Germany won an exemption for cars running on e-fuels.
The approval from EU countries' energy ministers means Europe's main climate policy for cars can now enter into force - after weeks of delay caused by last-minute opposition from Germany.

Greece has Europe’s most expensive electricity

The average price per megawatt-hour stood at 133.98 euros compared to €146.16/MWh on Sunday. Over the past seven days, the average price of a megawatt-hour in the Greek market fell to an 81-week low.
