Çanakkale Bridge honored as project of year by prestigious magazine

The 1915 Çanakkale Bridge project in the country's northwest has been honored with the "Project of the Year" award by the prestigious U.S.-based Engineering News-Record (ENR), renowned in the engineering and construction sectors, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu has announced.

40 Turkish firms among top 250 global contractors

Turkey took third place after China and the U.S. in terms of the number of companies in Engineering News Record's (ENR) 2022 Top 250 International Contractors list.

There are 40 companies in the list versus 78 Chinese and 41 U.S.-based contractors, according to the statement by the Turkish Contractors' Association (TMB).

Constructed in Madinah by TAV Construction, the Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Airport Project has been selected as the ?world?s best airport project? at the Global Construction Summit in New York organized by the Engineering News Record (ENR).

TAV Construction was awarded at the 3rd Global Construction Summit organized by ENR, the company said in a written statement on Sept. 11.
