BELGRADE - Hamam Balkania by Vladislav Bajac translated into English by Randall Major has been published by London-based Istros Books, the Belgrade-based publishing house Arhipelag stated on Wednesday.
Istros Books is a UK publishing house dedicated to literature from south-eastern Europe.

10th Nordic Panorama to open in Belgrade February 21- 25
BELGRADE - The 10th Nordic Panorama Film Festival will be held in Belgrade and several other cities in Serbia from February 21 to 25.
The Nordic Panorama is an international film festival presenting the annual production of best short, documentary and animated films from Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Iceland.
Deep Purple in Belgrade on Tuesday
Deep Purple will arrive in Belgrade as part of its world tour "Now What?!" named after this year's album.
Hard rock and heavy metal fans will enjoy a set list comprising the band's greatest hits: "Black Night", "Hush", "Burn", "Highway Star", "The Mule", "Hard Loving Man", and of course the best known riff in the history of rock and roll "Smoke on the Water" and many others.

Belgrade Philharmonic under baton of Jane Glover
BELGRADE - Jane Glover, conductor at the Royal Academy of Music in London, will conduct the Belgrade Philharmonic performing a concert within On High Heels cycle at the Kolarac Endowment on February 14.
After almost two decades, Lady Glover will again lead the Belgrade Philharmonic in a new concert cycle presenting outstanding female conductors, the Philharmonic announced.

Music days at Parobrod
BELGRADE - The cultural centre Parobrod in Belgrade will host a number of music events from February 13 to 15, including a concert of Tzootzonga Ansambl and an evening of French chansons on Valentine's Day, the organizers have said.

Aleksandar Zograf's exhibition to open on Wednesday
BELGRADE - An exhibition by cartoonist Aleksandar Zograf, titled Life in a Comic Book, will open late Wednesday at the French Institute in Belgrade.
The exhibition features Zograf's comic strips published in France in three collections: Second-Hand World (2008), Regards from Serbia (2000), E-mails from Pancevo (1999) and works published in albums from the Lapin series.
Renowned sculptor Olga Jevric passes away
BELGRADE - Olga Jevric, Serbia's renowned sculptor and academician, passed away at the age of 92, her family has said.
Jevric died on Monday.

Actor Nikola Rakocevic receives Berlinale award
BELGRADE - Young Serbian actor Nikola Rakocevic has received the Shooting Stars Award at the 64th Berlin International Film Festival, the Serbian Film Centre (FCS) stated on Tuesday.
The Shooting Stars initiative is the most important project by European Film Promotion, an international organization that the FCS is part of. The FCS put forth Rakocevic as a candidate for the award.

Iranian artists exhibit at Kombank Art Hall
BELGRADE – An exhibition of traditional Persian painting and calligraphy and contemporary fine art and graphic design of Iran has opened at the Kombank Art Hall in Belgrade.
Visitors have a unique opportunity to view works by three Iranian artists, namely, Jalil Jokar (1971 ), Gholam-Ali Taheri (1956 ) and Saber Safai (1978 ).

Premiere performance of Spanish national ballet in Belgrade
