The Ministry of Education has launched an urgent administrative investigation into an incident at a vocational senior high school (EPAL) on the island of Evia, near Athens. A physical education teacher is accused of having students perform massages on him during a class focused on Ancient Greek massage techniques.

A 16-year-old boy sustained injuries while playing basketball on the island of Rhodes in the eastern Aegean after a basketball hoop collapsed.

According to state broadcaster ERT, the incident occurred on Thursday in the courtyard of the 2nd Vocational Senior High School (EPAL).

Five teens were charged with causing bodily harm on on Friday after beating up a fellow student at a vocational high school (EPAL) in Thessaloniki, northern Greece, earlier in the week.
