Ethiopian, Somali officials to continue indirect talks in Türkiye
Delegations from Ethiopia and Somalia will continue indirect talks on Tuesday under Türkiye's mediation in efforts to resolve a dispute between the two countries over Addis Ababa's deal with the breakaway region of Somaliland.
Turkish top diplomat meets Ethiopian, Somali counterparts
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan brought his counterparts from Ethiopia and Somalia together once again in the Turkish capital as part of Ankara's efforts to resolve the problems between the two African neighboring states.
Fidan met with Ethiopia Foreign Minister Taye Atske Selassie and Somali Foreign Minister Ahmed Moallim Fiqi separately on Aug. 12 before a trilateral meeting.
Türkiye’s top diplomat to visit Ethiopia
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will pay a visit to Ethiopia over the weekend as part of Türkiye's mediation between Ethiopia and Somalia, which have been at odds over the former's attempts to have access to the Red Sea through Somaliland, a breakaway region of the latter.

Turkish FM facilitates talks between Somalia, Ethiopia
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan mediated talks between his Somalian and Ethiopian counterparts on July 1 to alleviate diplomatic tensions between the east African neighbors.
