Located in the Amhara region, Lalibela is Ethiopia's second holiest city after Axum.

Hong Kong court clears Greek model of drug smuggling
A 21-year-old Greek model who was arrested in Hong Kong in 2017 on charges of trying to smuggle 2.6 kilos of cocaine into the territory was unanimously acquitted on Wednesday by a high court.
Eirini Melissaropoulou was reportedly released on Wednesday and was to catch a flight back to Greece.

Military Helicopter Crash Kills 18 in Ethiopia
ADDIS ABABA (Reuters) - A military helicopter crashed in Ethiopia's Oromiya region on Thursday and all 18 people aboard, including 15 soldiers, were killed, the state-affiliated news agency Fana said.
The other three dead were civilians, Fana said. There was no immediate word on exactly where the helicopter came down and whether there were any casualties or damage on the ground.
