Greek Nationalists Flood Albania Village for Gunman's Funeral

Several hundred Greeks, some of them holding anti-Albanian and anti-Macedonian insignia, attended the funeral of Kostandinos Kacifa on Thursday in the village of Bularat in southern Albania, hailing him a national hero.

Media reported that several buses and other vehicles traveled from different towns and cities in Greece across the border to Albania.

Macedonia Albanian Parties Demand Constitutional Change

Two small ethnic Albanian opposition parties in Macedonia, the BESA movement and the Alliance for Albanians, insist that the changing of the constitution to implement the 'name' agreement with Greece is a good opportunity for additional changes that would improve the status of Albanians in the country.

French Ambassador to the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) Christian Thimonier has urged the people of the Balkan country to approve the name change deal in the September 30 referendum, saying that "the choice is between North Macedonia and North Korea."
