Famous chamber orchestra Cameristi Della Scala, which was founded in 1982 by musicians from the orchestra of Teatro alla Scala, will take the stage at Istanbul's Cemal Reşit Rey (CRR) Concert Hall on April 24. The orchestra will perform for the first time with a Turkish conductor, Hakan Şensoy in the concert. 

In the face of death threats and accusations they are dishonoring their families by daring to perform, the women of Afghanistan's first all-female orchestra are charting a new destiny for themselves through music.  

The group is set to be catapulted onto the world stage with a performance at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Concert at Carnegie Hall, but no money to travel

BELGRADE - The Belgrade-based choir Kir Stefan Srbin will on Wednesday, March 19, perform a concert at the National Theatre in Belgrade to mark the centenary of the death of Stevan Stojanovic Mokranjac, the greatest Serbian composer, the National Theatre announced.
