MUNICH - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) President Odile Renaud-Basso in Munich on Friday.

MUNICH - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has arrived in Munich, where he will attend the 60th Munich Security Conference (MSC) on Friday.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) invested a record 2.48 billion euros in Türkiye in 2023, boosted by the Bank's swift response to the country's recovery and reconstruction needs following deadly earthquakes in early February last year. 

BELGRADE - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) invested a record 846 mln euros in Serbia in 2023, up by nearly 200 mln euros from 2022 and well above the previous all-time high of 679 mln euros in 2020.

This made Serbia one of the top five recipients of EBRD investments for the first time, the bank said in a statement.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is providing a loan of $33.2 million to Borusan Lojistik to finance the company's capital expenditure, including measures to boost competitiveness.

LONDON - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Board of Directors has approved a new country strategy for Serbia that will be guiding its investment and policy initiatives for the next five years.

BELGRADE - Serbia will further upgrade its railway infrastructure thanks to a 25 mln euro loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

"Srbija Voz, Serbia's national rail passenger operator, will use the loan to build a new regional depot in Nis and rehabilitate two existing ones in Zemun and Sombor," the EBRD said in a statement.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has provided a 70 million-euro loan to TürkTraktör in Türkiye to support the company in modernizing its manufacturing facilities and expand its green investments.
