Euro court rules in favor of Turkish politician in 'Armenian genocide denial' case
The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) in Strasbourg ruled on Oct. 15 that Switzerland violated Turkish politician Do?u Perinçek?s right to freedom of speech.
The case concerned a fine imposed on Perinçek for a speech he gave in the country in which he denied that the mass deportation of Armenians in Anatolia in 1915 amounted to genocide.

Kalfin added that the funds on the refugees were allocated from both the government budget and the EU.
ECHR fines Turkey over conviction of journalists
The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has ordered Turkey to pay 3,360 euros for violating freedom of expression, after the application of two journalists from daily Evrensel who were convicted for publishing an article containing a statement by an illegal armed organization.

Turkey's key problem now freedom of press instead of torture, judge says
