Two Earthquakes Measuring 3.3, 3.9 on Richter Scale Registered in SE Bulgaria
Two earthquakes were felt Thursday morning in Southeastern Bulgaria, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
Earthquake Jolts Romania's Vrancea, Tremor Felt in Bulgaria's Ruse
An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale has been registered in Romania's Vrancea region early on Sunday, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported.
The tremor, with an epicenter 135 km. north of Romania's capital Bucharest, was also felt on the upper floors of high buildings in Bulgaria's Danube city of Ruse.
Minor 2.1 Earthquake Reported in SE Bulgaria
A minor earthquake was registered Wednesday night near the southeastern Bulgarian town of Karnobat, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
The earthquake measured 2.4 on the Richter scale and was registered at 9.18 pm on Wednesday.
The epicenter was located 19 kilometers south of Karnobat and 39 kilometers east of Yambol.
