Aegean to gradually restart overseas flights by end-May
Greece's largest carrier Aegean Airlines said on Thursday it will gradually restart flights from Athens to some major European destinations by the end of May, ending a suspension prompted by the new coronavirus pandemic.

Aegean to stop all international flights from Thursday
Aegean Airlines on Monday announced the suspension of all international flights as of Thursday until April 30.
It follows the new restrictions imposed by the government, including the suspension of all international flights to and from Italy, Spain, Turkey and Britain.

Greek carrier Aegean Airlines announced Monday they were suspending all international flights as of March 26 and until April 30, citing the "extraordinary circumstances" created by the coronavirus outbreak and the travel restrictions imposed by the government, the EU and other states.
Lufthansa Plans To Request State Aid As 2/3 Of Fleet Grounded
German flag carrier Lufthansa is planning to request state aid. This comes as the airline's CEO Carsten Spohr warned that 2/3rds of the airline Group's 800 odd aircraft will be grounded.
Aegean scraps rebooking fees until March 20 due to coronavirus
Greek air carrier Aegean Airlines said Monday it will suspend until March 20 its charges for passengers who want to change the date of their flight due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The scrap applies to every destination covered by the airline.
Aegean also said it will continue to fly to Italy, until otherwise instructed by Greek authorities.
