Space startups skyrocketing in Greece
Interest in space technology solutions is growing in Greece.
During the first three years of operation of the local incubator of the European Space Agency in Greece (ESA BIC Greece), there has been interest registered from more than 10,000 people, 50 completed applications for joining the incubator were submitted, while 17 startups employing more than 90 people were incorporated.

September second-warmest on record
Last month was the second-warmest September ever registered globally in an exceptional year "almost certain" to become the hottest on record, the EU climate monitor Copernicus said on Tuesday.
The Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) said the average global temperature last month was second only to September 2023.

Greek technology program: Made-in-Greece satellites for space

For Slovenia to be admitted to the ESA as a full-fledged member in the December 2024 vote, a consensus of all of the agency's members will be needed.

Greece returned to a primary surplus in 2022, the Parliamentary Budget Office stated on Thursday in its report for the fourth quarter of 2022, based on the common European rules (European system of Accounts, or ESA) methodology, which is the only valid record after the end of enhanced surveillance.
