Slovenian troops remain in Mali for now, defence minister says
Brussels – Defence Minister Matej Tonin said on Thursday that Slovenian soldiers remain in Mali for now and continue training Mali troops. The statement comes after France announced its troops would withdraw from this African country, where Slovenia currently has nine soldiers in the EU Training Mission (EUTM).
McDonald's Loses Big Mac EU Trademark Battle
Irish fast food chain Supermac's announced Tuesday it had won a European Union battle against global giant McDonald's over the use of the Big Mac and Mc trademarks, reports AFP.
Supermac's asked the European Union Intellectual Property Office to cancel McDonald's use of the trademarks in certain fields.

Serbian Army joins another UN peacekeeping mission
The Serbian Army (VS) will soon join another UN mission in the Middle East, the Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday, Beta reported, citing a statement.
Lieutenant Colonel Stevan Raseta will serve as a military observer in the UNDOF mission, established by a UN Security Council resolution in 1974 in order to separate Syrian and Israeli armed forces during Arab-Israeli wars.

Turkish firm to set up field clinic for EU in Mali
A Turkish firm has said it is manufacturing an advanced quick-setup field clinic for an EU training mission in the West African nation of Mali.
Turmaks, based in the capital Ankara, has started to manufacture the special three-container clinic for the use of the European Union Training Mission in Mali (EUTM Mali), a force for training the country's military.
