London event to showcase hydrocarbon blocks

In cooperation with the Greek Embassy in London and the ESCP Europe Business Schools Research Center for Energy Management (RCEM), the government in Athens is preparing a major showcase event in the British capital next week to present the blocks to be conceded for hydrocarbon exploration in the Ionian Sea and south of Crete.

Samaras, Venizelos reach deal in university administrative staff dispute
Six hundred university administrative staff are set to get their jobs back after being fired last year as part of the government mobilitys scheme in the public sector. The decision was reached by Prime Minister Antonis Samaras and Deputy Prime Minister Evangelos Venizelos late on Sunday.

Doctors give Venizelos all clear after hospital tests
Deputy Prime Minister Evangelos Venizelos has been given the all-clear by doctors to attend the swearing ceremony for the new Greek cabinet on Tuesday afternoon after being admitted to the hospital earlier the same day.
