How politics has changed. Today's campaign rallies look like anaemic imitations of the passionate and huge gatherings that Greece experienced for many decades. One wonders why our political leaders insist on holding them. They don't gather enough people, they are not lively, and the image does not play very well on television.

Over 450,000 apply to online software training program
More than 450,000 people applied to the Turkish Treasury and Finance Ministry's project to train software developers, according to a statement by the Finance Minister Berat Albayrak on April 30.
"The youth has shown a great favor in our '1 Million Software Developers' project. The number of applicants reached 451,000 in a week time," he said on his Twitter account.
Sazka offer may not impress OPAP shareholders
The principal objective of the public proposal put forward by main shareholder Sazka Group for the acquisition of up to 67 percent of OPAP is the incorporation of the Greek gaming firm's results in those of the company founded by Karel Komarek.
