Serbia’s Arms Factory Stops Work After Explosion Wounds Workers
Serbia's state arms manufacturer, Sloboda, from Cacak, western Serbia, will not be working until further notice, it was decided on Saturday after an explosion injured three workers, it was confirmed to BIRN.
A town commission will determine the damage caused to nearby houses and other facilities after the explosion, the town administration told Beta news agency.

Prosecutor Alexandru Anghel with the Bucharest Tribunal said on Friday evening that it is possible there were two explosions of oxygen cylinders, after a fire broke out at the Matei Bals hospital. Anghel and head of the Bucharest Police Homicide Service Marian Mihoci gave first statements on Friday regarding the conduct of the investigation in this case.
Chemical plant near Houston explodes!
Multiple explosions occurred at a flooded chemical plant near Houston early Thursday, giving off black smoke and sending a sheriff’s deputy to the hospital.
The Harris County Emergency Operations Center reported the incidents at Arkema Inc’s Crosby, Texas, factory around 2 a.m., the company said in a statement. The company warned that more explosions may occur.

Explosion heard and armed police seen in Moss Side, Manchester, as house raided (PHOTOS) (Upd2)
Armed police are raiding houses in Moss Side, Manchester, as residents have reported explosions being heard.
One resident said on Twitter there was an explosion near Quantock Close and Selworth Road shortly before 2pm.
Dogs have been seen at the scene and police have closed off roads in the area.

Serbia's defence ministry announced that one army staff member was killed and another 25 army and police personnel were injured as they battled to extinguish a blaze following an explosion on Tuesday at the military repair depot in the central Serbian town of Kragujevac.
The ministry said it is still searching for three missing people.

Incident at Arms Manufacturing Plant Kills Two in Bulgaria's Kazanlak
Incident at the Arsenal arms manufacturing plant in the Bulgarian town of Kazanlak claimed the lives of two workers on Monday.
The incident occurred when a spark came out during repair works in one of the buildings on the territory of the plant.

Reports are surfacing of an explosion in central Paris, with witnesses posting images and videos of smoke rising above buildings in the French capital. More details as they become available. A powerful explosion has been reported at a school in the Swedish town of Karlstad, according to local media say.
After the explosion a fire broke out and emergency services rushed to the site, but there have been no reports of casualties so far.

Death Toll from Warehouse Explosions in China's Tianjin Rises
The two explosions, which occurred at a warehouse in the northern Chinese port city of Tianjin on Wednesday night, claimed the lives of at least seventeen people and left hundreds others injured.
According to media reports, the explosions hit a warehouse storing "dangerous and chemical goods" in the port area of the city, the BBC informs.
Factory blast kills three in Turkish capital
At least three workers have been killed and two wounded in a blast at a cement factory near Ankara.
The blast erupted in the Kazan district of the Turkish capital late on May 24 as workers were trying to repair a malfunctioning raw material boiler, according to a statement from Kazan Mayor Lokman Ertürk.
