The annual Atlantic Council Energy and Economic Summit starts in Istanbul on Nov. 18 with the aim of building from Central Asia to Central Europe and the Levant, with the attendance of over 400 distinguished speakers from 40 countries. 

Turkey needs a permanent and coherent public policy for nuclear energy, according to the head of the International Energy Agency (IEA). 

New International Energy Agency (IEA) Executive Director Dr. Fatih Birol has said he plans to focus on boosting renewable energy in addition to fossil fuels by turning the agency into ?a kind of central bank? in renewable energy technologies, during his first interview since assuming the position.

Dr. Fatih Birol took office on Sept. 1 as the new executive director of the International Energy Agency (IEA), ushering in a new era for the global energy authority, the IEA said in a written statement.  

The brand-new Turkish Energy Stock Market (EP?A?) will be launched at the 21st International Energy, Environment Fair and Conference, ICCI 2015, to be held in Istanbul next week. 

EP?A? is designated to serve as the sole energy exchange of Turkey and will be integrated into Borsa Istanbul, the umbrella institution within which all the exchanges in Turkey operate.
