Majority of Fiat workers decide to continue strike

Two thirds of the Fiat factory in Kragujevac in both shifts voted on July 12 to continue a strike, Beta is reporting.
Second-shift workers unanimously refused to halt the strike, Independence Union head Zoran Stanic told journalists.

Fiat employees will not stop the strike
About 2,000 workers in Fiat factory in Kragujevac decided today that they will not stop the strike until they receive written guarantee from the employer that the minimum of their requests will be fulfilled, reported RTS.
Workers made this decision after consultation between first and second shift workers.

BELGRADE -- The Fiat Automobili Srbija (Fiat Automobiles Serbia, FAS) company has been officially renamed to FCA Srbija (FCA Serbia) Kragujevac d.o.o.
This was announced after a gathering at the Italian embassy in Belgrade on Thursday that presented a preview of the new Fiat 500X model to the Serbian market.
