US sales of Tofaş’s van to discontinue
Stellantis plans to discontinue the Ram ProMaster City, the smaller of the truck brand's two van offerings, after the 2022 model year as the segment dwindles rapidly in the U.S. and automakers focus on adding larger electric vans instead, Automotive News has reported.
The ProMaster City is built in Türkiye by carmaker Tofaş at its plant in the northwestern province of Bursa.

Fiat Chrysler Offered Renault to Merge into a Huge Holding
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV (FCA) has proposed a merger with its French rival Renault (Groupe Renault), the Italian-American carmaker announced on Monday. A similar deal could lead to the third major automaker in the world, Reuters reported on Wall Street Journal.
"Fiat to stay in Serbia, and is prepping new model"
The model's working mark is "601," according to the paper.
The article added that Alfredo Leggero, head of manufacturing for EMEA region at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, has already arrived in Serbia, as has Silvia Vernetti, who is in charge of the plant in Kragujevac.
Meanwhile, a deal is expected to be reached with the Serbian partner on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Fiat Workers Strike over Ronaldo Signing
Workers at a Fiat Chrysler plant in Italy are to strike after its main investor decided to pay €112m (£99.2m) to sign footballer Cristiano Ronaldo for Juventus.
Both the football club and the carmaker are controlled by the Agnelli family through their holding company.
For the USB union, the decision means Fiat is missing out on investment.
