Safet Khalid from the Village of Zaritsa Sheltered 5 Storks
Safet Khalid of the Silistra village of Zaritsa saved five storks last night from frost. Khalid released late last night on Facebook a photo of the birds he hosted at his home. He found them half stiff and with the help of friends he brought them to his home.
Today, Nezabravka Kirova-Hristova from the same village published a photo of Safet and the storks surviving in his home.

The Athens State Orchestra lends its sound to a screening of Charlie Chaplin's kooky "Gold Rush," where the Little Tramp heads north to try his luck among the throngs of prospectors at Klondike. The music for the silent film of 1925 was composed by Chaplin and Max Terr in 1942. Tickets for the family-friendly, 8.30 p.m. show at the Athens Concert Hall cost 10-35 euros.

The Danish Institute is screening Susanne Bier's 2014 film "A Second Chance" on Thursday, February 22, at 7 p.m. In Danish with English subtitles, the thriller follows a police detective who puts himself on the wrong side of the law he's supposed to defend when he kidnaps a baby from abusive parents in order to replace his own child, who has died.
