The ‘voice of Hollywood’ dies at 64
One of Türkiye's best known voice artists, Sungun Babacan, has died at the age of 64. He had been receiving treatment for his illness for a while.
Babacan voiced actors in many well-known Hollywood movies and commercials such as Batman, Superman, as well as Tom Cruise and Tom Hanks.

Court documents in Polanski criminal case ordered released
An appeals court on July 13 ordered the unsealing of some documents in the criminal case against renowned director Roman Polanski, who has been a fugitive since pleading guilty to having sex with a 13-year-old girl decades ago, a California prosecutor announced.
‘The Godfather’ star James Caan dies at 82
James Caan, the tough-guy U.S. actor best known for playing tragic and hot-tempered gangster heir Sonny Corleone in "The Godfather," has died aged 82, his manager said on July 7.
Caan, who also had roles in "Misery," "Thief" and "Rollerball," received an Oscar nomination for his portrayal of a mafia family's eldest son in Francis Ford Coppola's 1972 classic "The Godfather."

Alec Baldwin to interview Woody Allen on Instagram live
Actor Alec Baldwin announced on June 27 he will chat live on Instagram with disgraced comedian and movie director Woody Allen.
"I have zero interest in anyone's judgments and sanctimonious posts here," said Baldwin, himself at the center of a scandal after a cinematographer was shot dead last year on a film set by a gun Baldwin was holding.
