An Eskimo-style fisherman in northeastern Turkey has caught the biggest fish of the winter season - a freshwater carp of 5.2 kilograms as the fishing season kicked off in Lake Çıldır.

Health authorities seized a total 104 kilograms of fish Thursday after checks at a restaurant in Piraeus and a street vendor.
According to reports, the fish, including anchovies, sardines, cod and seabream, did not meet proper health standards and certifications.

The Biggest Tuna Fish in the World was Sold at an Auction in Japan
450 kg of tuna, the largest in fishing history in Japan, was auctioned at the Katsoura harbor in Honshu Island, TASS reported.
The length of the fish is 2.74 m. It is the heaviest trapped in Japan since 1949 when the systematic report on fish of this type began.
