New dogfight in the eastern Aegean
Turkish and Greek fighter jets engaged in a dogfight over the eastern Aegean islet of Ro on Thursday afternoon, as a helicopter carrying the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant-General Georgios Kambas, was trying to land.
The Turkish F-16 jets entered Greek airspace and flew one mile over Ro. They were soon intercepted by Greek fighter jets in a brief dogfight.

Ride like the wind
A hang glider participates in the 32nd Panhellenic Hang Gliding Championship, which started on Saturday in Old Kastania, in the Municipality of Servia-Velvento, northern Greece. Around 40 of Greece's best hang gliders are competing daily. The championship is co-organized by the Hellenic Aeronautical & Airsports Federation and the Municipality of Servia-Velvento.

Two Die in Bulgaria as Hung Glider Crashes
Two people have lost their lives in an incident with a hung glider not far from Kazanlak in central Bulgaria.
The pilot has died in the crash. The other man has passed away en route to the hospital, public radio BNR reports.

Around 500 air sports enthusiasts from 40 countries are competing in various disciplines at the 15th Ãlüdeniz Air Games Festival, which is held every October.
