Sick, hungry Indonesia tsunami survivors cram shelters
Desperately-needed aid flowed into a stretch of Indonesia's tsunami-struck coastline Tuesday, but humanitarian workers warned that clean water and medicine supplies were dwindling as thousands crammed makeshift evacuation centres.

Attica susceptible to major floods

Central Greece district hit by flash floods
At least two villages were flooded near Lamia, central Greece, on Friday after the river Spercheios swelled due to heavy thunderstorms.
Online footage showed locals trying to protect themselves and their homes from the rising waters as streams overflowed their banks and barreled through the villages of Styrfaka and Lygaria.
There were no reports of injuries.

Athens suburbs hit by heavy rainfall, flash floods
Cars float in a parking lot-turned-muddy lake following a squall in the northern Athens suburb of Maroussi, Thursday. Authorities urged drivers to avoid the area and closed a side road off the main highway leading north out of the capital. The fire department received more than 200 calls for assistance, including pumping water from flooded homes and businesses.
