Improvement of food quality and safety in Serbia
Brnabic said afterwards that that all milk producers will have to test their products twice a month in the National Milk Control Laboratory, the government announced.
Brnabic explained that the analysis will be free, with each producer getting guidance on what to do if there are deviations in the quality of their products from European standards.

UAE Ministry Bans Chicken Imports from Bulgaria
Dubai: The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment on Tuesday announced a ban on the importation of all kinds of birds, chicks, hatching eggs and their non-heated products from Bulgaria, reports GulfNews.
The ban also applies to the import of poultry meat and non-heat treated products and eggs from the affected country.

Bulgarian Food Safety Agency: Over 30 Tonnes of Food Confiscated in August
Sofia. In August, a total of 34,953 kg of food of animal and non-animal origin were earmarked for destruction by food control inspectors of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency, the latter said. The amount of food was confiscated from production sites, warehouses, stores and food service establishments.

The Bulgarian Food Safety Agency starts today intensified checks for the Christmas and New Year holidays, according to bTV.
Food and beverage enterprises, wholesale warehouses, catering establishments, retail outlets, and supermarkets, will be inspected.
Inspectors will monitor the origin, expiry date, storage conditions and proper food labeling.
Over 350 kg of Dangerous Food was Found for Only a Week

The World Food Travel Association (WFTA), the world's leading authority on food and beverage tourism, has recently announced the winners of its 2016 FoodTrekking Awards for excellence in food and beverage tourism.
This is the first year of the awards, which seek to "fill a void of recognition in the food and beverage tourism industry."

Elena wants to make Greece an all-year-round destination
Alternate Tourism Minister Elena Koundoura visited the Horeca Tourism Sector trade show on Sunday at the Metropolitan Expo exhibition center. She said that one of the priorities of the Tourism Industry is to make the tourism season last longer and make Greece an all-year-round travel destination.
The 10th Horeca expo trade show runs through to February 9.
