Maradona’s ‘hand of God’ World Cup jersey auctioned for $9.3 mln
The jersey that Argentina football legend Diego Maradona wore while scoring twice against England in the 1986 World Cup, including the infamous "hand of God" goal, was auctioned for $9.3 million, a record for any item of sports memorabilia, Sotheby's said on May 4.

The jersey worn by Diego Maradona when he scored twice against England in the 1986 World Cup, including the infamous "hand of God" goal, is to be auctioned off this month, Sotheby's announced on April 6.
Maradona’s Death to Be Investigated!
Diego Maradona's death was also claimed due to negligence. The lawyer for the Argentine football legend, Matias Moria, asked for an investigation to be carried out.
Maradona, The Hand of God, passed away on Wednesday (11/25/2020) at his residence in Tigre, Buenos Aires. Former Argentinos Juniors, Boca Juniors, Barcelona, Napoli, Sevilla, Newell's Old Boys.
