Vucevic: Germany wants to see W Balkans in EU, Serbia remains committed to EU path
BERLIN - Serbian PM Milos Vucevic said on Monday in Berlin, where he attended the 10th anniversary Berlin Process summit, that Serbia remained committed to the EU path as its main strategic geopolitical objective and that the impression after the summit was that Germany wanted to see the Western Balkans in the EU.

Dacic: Italy wants to back EU integration, become more present in region
ROME - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic said on Monday Italy wanted to back European integration of the entire Western Balkans.
Speaking to reporters after a meeting with Italian FM Antonio Tajani, Dacic said a meeting of Western Balkan FMs in Italy was a useful initiative.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received Bosnia and Herzegovina FM Elmedin Konakovic on Friday to discuss strengthening of overall cooperation between the two countries, the region's European path and other current affairs.

Bosnian Serb Army Ex-Officer Convicted in Train Massacre Case
The Bosnian state court on Thursday found Boban Indjic guilty, as commander of the Interventions Company of the Bosnian Serb Army's Visegrad Brigade, of participating in the abductions and subsequent murders of 20 civilians who were seized from a train at Strpci station in Bosnia on February 27, 1993.

The Serbian Prosecutor's Office for War Crimes urged Belgrade Higher Court on Tuesday to convict four defendants accused of involvement in the abduction and subsequent killing of passengers from a train at Strpci station in February 1993 and give them "the maximum prison sentences".

"Exactly 19 years ago, at the Thessaloniki Summit, the way was opened for the Western Balkans to join the European family. Unfortunately, since then, the progress that has been made, in practice, is minimal.
Vucic made the decision
The leaders of the six countries in the region were invited to a meeting with the leaders of the European Council, which should be held tomorrow before the beginning of the regular June summit of the Union, at which enlargement will be discussed.
