The leaders of 9 EU and Mediterranean countries are in Athens

Ljubljana – An inter-parliamentary conference on the EU’s common foreign and security policy organised as part of the Slovenian EU presidency on Thursday heard calls for a united and active approach by the bloc to global challenges.

A report recommending an end to the Customs Union between the European Union and Turkey and replacing it with a free trade agreement (FTA) of the type with the United Kingdom, Japan or Canada has been discussed at the European Parliament's Commission on International Trade (INTA).
