Munich Security Conference starts with high-level attendance
The Munich Security Conference has started in Munich on Feb. 17 with top world leaders, diplomats and defense officials getting their first opportunity to meet with members of the U.S. President Donald Trump's administration amid concerns over the new president's commitment to NATO and posture toward Russia.
Normandy Four Reach No Breakthrough on Eastern Ukraine
No breakthrough has been reached at the meeting in Minsk attended by the Foreign Ministers of France, Germany, Ukraine and Russia.
The countries from the Normandy Four discussed the withdrawal of armed formations from the front line in Eastern Ukraine and the exchange of prisoners of war.
Lavrov: No need to fuel tensions over RS Day referendum
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has told his German counterpart Frank Walter Steinmeier there was "no need to fuel tensions" over the RS Day referendum.
In a telephone conversation on Thursday, Lavrov called on Steinmeier to focus instead on "encouraging the Bosnian sides to start a constructive dialogue," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement carried by TASS.

Serbian FM to attend Munich Security Conference
Serbia's First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic will take part in the 52nd Munich Security Conference on February 12-14.
His ministry announced on Wednesday he would travel to Germany at the invitation of the chairman of the conference, Ambassador Wolfgang Ischinger.

Turkey does not want Germany to cherry-pick migrants

BELGRADE - The Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) is the winner of "Kaiser-Otto" in 2015, Mayor of Magdeburg Lutz Trümper announced on Sunday.
The OSCE received this award for its contribution to stability in Europe and neighbouring regions, as stated in the announcement.
