UN calls for member states to ’prevent the flow of arms’ into Myanmar
The U.N. General Assembly on June 18 took the rare step of calling on member states to "prevent the flow of arms" into Myanmar, part of a non-binding resolution condemning the military coup in the violence-wracked country.
EU calls for restraint in Hong Kong
The European Union on Nov. 19 called on all sides in Hong Kong to exercise restraint and said that any violence is "unacceptable".

More than 100 Foreign Ministers gather in Brussels
Ministers from ASEAN and European Union were meeting in Brussels on Monday to review past cooperation and further strengthen ties between the regions.
They will discuss the implementation of the Asean-EU Plan of Action for 2018-2022, which covers security, trade and investment, connectivity and sustainable development, according to a Thai Foreign Ministry press statement.
