Turkey offers condolences on death of Italian diplomat
Turkey on Feb. 22 offered condolences on the killing of an Italian diplomat in an attack on a U.N. convoy in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Ambassador Luca Attanasio, 43, was among three people killed along with Italian police officer Vittorio Lacovacci, 30, and their Congolese World Food Program driver.

Greece expresses condolences over deadly avalanche in Turkey
Greece's Foreign Ministry on Wednesday expressed its condolences to the people and government of Turkey after an avalanche slammed into a mountain in eastern Turkey killing 38 people, including the rescue crews who rushed to help those trapped.
Turkey condemns terror attack in Niger
Turkey on Dec. 27 condemned a terror attack in Niger where 14 soldiers lost their lives.
"We are deeply saddened to receive the news that many Nigerian security force members lost their lives in a terrorist attack against the convoy of the officials of the Niger Independent National Election Commission (CENI) in the Tillabery region," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Greece offers condolences over North Macedonia bus crash
Greece's foreign ministry expressed its condolences over the deadly bus crash in North Macedonia on Wednesday night that killed 14 people and injured dozens more.
"Deeply saddened by tragic road accident on the Skopje-Tetovo highway. Our thoughts go out to the victims' families and loved ones," the ministry said in a tweet.
