Turkey on Feb. 22 offered condolences on the killing of an Italian diplomat in an attack on a U.N. convoy in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Ambassador Luca Attanasio, 43, was among three people killed along with Italian police officer Vittorio Lacovacci, 30, and their Congolese World Food Program driver.

Turkey condemned a deadly terror attack in Niger that killed at least 56 people, the Foreign Ministry said on Jan. 3.

Turkey on March 20 condemned a recent terrorist attack in the northeastern region of Gao in Mali that killed 29 people including two soldiers.

Terrorists on March 19 attacked an army camp in Tarkint village in the Gao city area.

Greece's Foreign Ministry on Wednesday expressed its condolences to the people and government of Turkey after an avalanche slammed into a mountain in eastern Turkey killing 38 people, including the rescue crews who rushed to help those trapped.

Turkey on Dec. 27 condemned a terror attack in Niger where 14 soldiers lost their lives.

"We are deeply saddened to receive the news that many Nigerian security force members lost their lives in a terrorist attack against the convoy of the officials of the Niger Independent National Election Commission (CENI) in the Tillabery region," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Turkey on Sept. 29 expressed its condolences to India for the many lives lost in recent floods. 

The longest line of soldiers of both sides of Pakistan and India are at the Wagah border crossing demonstrating power to each other with fast-paced marches and high kicks at both ends of the border to impress and scare the other side.

Premier Viorica Dancila firmly condemned the terrorist attack in Kabul, in which a representative of Romania's diplomatic mission to the capital of Afghanistan was killed and another one was injured. "I firmly condemn the bloody terrorist attack in Afghanistan that killed a representative of Romania's diplomatic mission to Kabul and left another one injured.

Pakistan and Turkey on Aug. 28 agreed to develop strong relations in the field of aviation, an official said.

Greece's foreign ministry expressed its condolences over the deadly bus crash in North Macedonia on Wednesday night that killed 14 people and injured dozens more.

"Deeply saddened by tragic road accident on the Skopje-Tetovo highway. Our thoughts go out to the victims' families and loved ones," the ministry said in a tweet.
