Philadelphia 76ers' Turkish player Furkan Korkmaz hit the game-winner against Portland Trail Blazers on Nov. 2 night in the NBA to keep his team unbeaten.

Galatasaray Liv Hospital players refused to attend a team training session late Jan. 19 in protest at a delay in wage payments.

The squad was present at the first training session earlier in the day, but a second training session was canceled after the players said they would boycott it.

Turkish center Furkan Aldemir, who joined the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers on Dec. 15, made his debut for his new team hours after signing a contract.

Aldemir logged 10 minutes in the Sixers' 105-87 home loss to the Boston Celtics, scoring two points, dishing out an assist and grabbing two offensive rebounds.
