Gaza flotilla raid

A Turkish humanitarian agency distributed food packages among 500 families in the Philippines' self-governing Muslim-majority Bangsamoro region during the month of Ramadan, it said on May 10.

Medical aid from Turkey came at a time when the government needed it the most, Palestinian Authority's deputy foreign minister said April 30.

"This help meets the needs of Palestine in a critical period when the Palestinian budget is inadequate and the economy is negatively affected by the coronavirus outbreak," Ahmad ed-Dijk told Anadolu Agency.

Greece has condemned Turkey's unilateral offensive in northeastern Syria, calling it a "direct violation of international law," while warning that the operation could have serious humanitarian consequences.
In a statement on Thursday, the Foreign Ministry urged Turkey to halt its military operation, echoing the European Union position expressed on Wednesday.

The International Criminal Court on Sept. 2 ordered the tribunal's prosecutor for a second time to reconsider whether to press charges over a deadly Israeli raid on a flotilla carrying aid to Gaza in 2010.
