At least ten Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza today.

The United States has voiced concern about a "horrifying" Israeli strike in Gaza that killed a large number of children and said it was asking its ally for answers.

At least 55 Palestinians have been reported killed and dozens more injured due to Israeli airstrikes in Beit Lahia, located in the northern Gaza Strip. Among the deceased are many children, and Palestinian authorities suggest that the actual death toll could be significantly higher.

Gaza's civil defense agency said Tuesday that an overnight Israeli airstrike killed more than 93 people in a residential building in the northern district of Beit Lahia.

"The number of martyrs in the massacre of the Abu Nasr family home in Beit Lahia has risen to 93 martyrs, and about 40 are still missing under the rubble," agency spokesman Mahmud Bassal told AFP in an updated toll.

Israel's parliament on Monday approved a bill banning the main U.N. aid agency for the war-devastated Gaza Strip, sparking international outcry.

Microsoft has fired two employees who organized an unauthorized vigil at the company's headquarters for Palestinians killed in Gaza during Israel's war with Hamas.

The two employees told The Associated Press they were fired by phone call late on Oct. 24, several hours after a lunchtime event they organized at Microsoft's campus in Redmond, Washington.

The head of the World Health Organization (WHO) warned yesterday (Saturday) that the situation in the northern Gaza Strip is “catastrophic”, with “intensive military operations taking place in and around health infrastructure.”

The war between Israel and Hamas has claimed the lives of 770 people in less than three weeks in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian enclave’s Civil Defense Agency said today, and as new talks aimed at reaching a ceasefire are underway.
