Kosovo-Metohija Serb arrested at Gazimestan released after questioning
GAZIMESTAN - A Kosovo-Metohija Serb from Babin Most who was arrested by the so-called Kosovo Police in the Gazimestan memorial complex near Pristina on Friday has been released after questioning, his attorney has confirmed to Tanjug.

GAZIMESTAN - The so-called Kosovo Police arrested a Kosovo-Metohija Serb from Babin Most at Gazimestan, the site of the 1389 Battle of Kosovo, on Friday.
The man, identified with the initials N M, was taken out of a group of people who attended a memorial service for Serbian warriors who fell in the battle, and driven away in a police vehicle, a Tanjug correspondent reports.

Kosovo Heroes from battle 626 years ago commemorated
Several thousand people on Sunday, St. Vitus Day (Vidovdan), attended a memorial service at Gazimestan, near Pristina.
In this place in 1389, 626 years ago, the Serbian army led by Prince Lazar confronted the invading Ottoman Turks. Those fallen in the battle that the Serbian state lost are referred to as Kosovo Heroes, and the Gazimestan monument is their memorial.
