Sudan evacuation not feasible at the moment, diplomatic sources say
The evacuation of the two injured Greek citizens and the other Greek citizens trapped in the conflict zone in Sudan is currently not possible, diplomatic sources said as fighting entered its fifth day on Wednesday.

Türkiye issues security alerts for citizens in Sudan
Foreign Ministry has issued security alerts for Turkish citizens residing in Sudan, asking them to stay indoors amid the escalated tensions following armed clashes in Sudan over the weekend.
Citizens should call the Turkish Embassy in Khartoum and the Consular Call Center of Türkiye in case of emergencies, the ministry said in a social media post on April 16.

Türkiye has expressed its concerns over the escalated tension following armed clashes in Sudan over the weekend.
"We are concerned about the armed clashes taking place today in the Republic of Sudan," read a written statement issued by the Foreign Ministry late on April 15.

Greek Foreign Ministry issues warning about travel to Sudan
Greece's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday issued an advisory for travel to Sudan after fighting broke out between the military and a paramilitary force in the capital, Khartoum.
"In view of the security situation in Sudan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Greek citizens to avoid non-essential travel to the country," the statement said.
