Russia will soon Open Bridge linking Crimea to Russia
AFP, KERCH: Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to unveil Tuesday a highly symbolic bridge linking southern Russia to the Crimea, four years after the peninsula was annexed from Ukraine.
The Crimean Bridge, at 19 kilometers will be Europe's longest, overtaking Lisbon's Vasco da Gama Bridge.

The Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE) supports and joins the declaration of High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy (HR) Federica Mogherini regarding the illegal annexation of the Crimean Peninsula, according to a press release sent on Saturday.
Children in the Crimea Learn to Place and Dispose of Mines
On the Russian-annexed Crimea peninsula, unusual school activities were held - children were taught how to handle mines, Nova TV reported.
Engineering troops showed about 100 students, the smallest among them at the age of 12, how to put and dispose of bombs, and what are the features of self-contained explosive devices such as belts with explosives and bombs hidden in other objects.
Germany's Gabriel Fears Escalation in Iran
Germany is worried about the situation in Iran escalating, Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel said on Wednesday, cited by Reuters.
Speaking to reporters on a visit to Ukraine, Gabriel also said he was skeptical that a decision by the United States to supply lethal weapons to Ukraine would help lead to a resolution of the Donbass conflict.
