Reds triumph away in Game 1 of the Basket League finals
Olympiakos snatched home advantage in the finals of the Basket League with an imposing performance at the Olympic Sports Hals on Sunday, beating Panathinaikos 75-65 in Game 1 of the best-of-five series.
OT win for the Reds against Real, as the Greens go down
Olympiakos remained on top of the Euroleague with an overtime home win over Real Madrid, while Panathinaikos succumbed to a Zalgiris coached by its former star, Sarunas Jasikevicius.
The Reds triumphed 92-83 in 45 minutes on Friday, for their ninth win in 11 games.
Another week, another Greek sweep in Euroleague
Olympiakos and Panathinaikos extended their winning streak further this week to remain at the top four of the Euroleague table, as the Reds are joint top with CSKA Moscow and the Greens in fourth.
On Thursday Olympiakos defeated host Valencia 72-64 in Spain for its eighth win in 10 games.

Olympiakos clinched a thriller against Maccabi Fox Tel Aviv on the road (69-68) for the third round of Euroleague championship. The win gives the Reds a perfect record of 3 out lot their first 3 matches. Georgios Printezis (21 pts) and McLean (8 pts) were leading scorers for the Greek team.
Reds down Baskonia, Greens crumble at Barca
Olympiakos beat its Spanish opposition in Greece while Panathinaikos succumbed to its Spanish host as the new Euroleague got underway this week.
A stadium ban sent Olympiakos to Crete for its first home game and the Reds filled the stands of the Dyo Aorakia court in Iraklio in their 75-64 victory over Baskonia on Thursday.

Reds succumb to Fener in Euroleague final
Olympiakos was unable to perform a second miracle in 48 hours and succumbed in the Euroleague final to host Fenerbahce 80-64 on Sunday in Istanbul's Sinan Erdem Dome.
For two-and-a-half quarters the Reds were close to the Turkish team in the score, trailing 39-35 at half-time after another buzzer-beating triple, this time by Khem Birch, the Greek champion's best player on the night.

Fenerbache defeat Olympiakos (80-64) to clinch Euroleague title
Olympiakos failed to win their 4th trophy, as home team Fenerbache was too strong prevailing 80-64 in the Euroleague basketball final. The Turkish side managed to keep two of the Greek champions’ key players, Vassilis Spanoulis and Giorgos Printezis quiet for the night making it difficult for the reds to pose any real threat in the game.
Olympiacos stuns CSKA, advances to the final at Euroleague Final Four in Istanbul
Greek club Olympiacos grabbed the first ticket to the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four final, beating CSKA Moscow 82-78 on May 19 in Istanbul's Sinan Erdem Dome.
Georgios Printezis led the winning side with 15 points and seven rebounds, while Vassilis Spanoulis and Kostas Papanikolaou added 13 points each.
